Types of basic emotions and their effect on human behavior

Emotions are an integral part of human life. Emotions came from the Latin word "emovere" which means "to move out". Emotions are often intertwined with personality, temperament, mood, disposition and motivation. In psychology, emotion is often defined as a complex state of feelings that results in psychological and physical changes that influence thought and behavior. It‘s a strong feeling deriving from one's circumstances, mood or relationships with others. Emotions are considered as the building blocks of personality. They influence behavior. Emotions have both physiological and cognitive elements.
